The Australian Society for Microbiology (ASM) Queensland will be hosting a careers information afternoon for higher degree research students in microbiology or related life science disciplines. Three panellists with microbiology backgrounds from a range of areas in both academia and industry will share information about their roles, and how they got there. A social mixer to facilitate networking will be held in the UQ Red Room following the panel presentations. Attendees will be encouraged to create new connections and build their professional network.
