R-Adelaide 2025

Black Ochre Data Labs are pleased to announce that RAdelaide will return again in 2025, and that tickets are now available (https://events.humanitix.com/radelaide-2025). RAdelaide is a 3-day, in-person, training course for those wanting to develop their skills in the language R, and will be held at the University of Adelaide from 8-10 July. The course is aimed at beginner to intermediate users, and whilst suitable for all disciplines, has been designed primarily for those working in biomedical research, with most examples being drawn from this field. PhD candidates in particular are most welcome. The sessions will be led by the highly-experienced local bioinformatician Dr Stevie Pederson (The Kids Research Institute Australia, The University of Adelaide & ANU) who has been an R-user for over 20 years. As well as being Co-Chair of the Bioconductor Community Advisory Board, Dr Pederson is the senior author of multiple R/Bioconductor packages and was the Co-ordinator of the University of Adelaide Bioinformatics Hub (2014-2020), running training sessions for hundreds of R users around Australia over the last 10 years, in both industry and academia.Sponsored tickets are available for Indigenous Australians, or for those working in Indigenous Health, so please contact us on events@blackochrelabs.au if these sponsorships may help enable your attendance.
